Colours

Drove out to the blue mountains for a very leisurely lunch and met up with S. Came across a fab little gallery where I bought a very reasonably priced deep green and red glass vase....looks much better than it sounds! Called in at the three sisters rocks (blipped) on the way home...famous tourist attraction apparently! It was pretty spectacular, despite the hordes of tourists who were enjoying a lovely sunny Easter Sunday. You can see the blue mountains in the background , looking a bit like blue sea. They take on the blue colour because of the eucalyptus trees apparently. The mountains are very densely wooded and form part of the Great Dividing Range that the early settlers had to cross in order to travel west from the eastern coastal towns. I'm surprised they even attempted it!
