We had a quiet day today. I was frantically referencing my mums well kept albums to try and date some of my gigantic unkempt pile of photo prints in wallets with negatives from 1985-2003, many of which I can not tie to a particular year. 
Events like parties, weddings, christenings and summer visits to mum are already documented and are easy.
It is good sleuthing work for the others - checking the baby teeth/gaps/grown up teeth, hair length/cut, glasses style, footwear etc and matching them to photos with dates on! 

In between I got the laundry hung out and fixed lunch.

We nipped to the High Street to a coffee shop  this afternoon for a break and to get out in the sunshine . This is in the car park near the castle - mum can not walk far but has a blue badge so we could get a space where it was only 300m to walk  - easy!

Best chance find of the day - a new watch for mum in a charity shop - I just happened to see it in it's little box in the shop window! She complained just this morning that her current watch had stopped working. She likes to wear one, but an inexpensive one that can be easily replaced - they seem to last a couple of years on average. Result!
