Went this morning for a cycle taking advantage of the good (sunny but cold) weather and knowing that it was set to change in the afternoon. I decided to take the back road towards Traquair House from Peebles before heading south on the B709 towards the Gordon Arms. Its a steady climb but the downhill section is a blast! It tests your nerves a bit avoiding the many potholes. I haven't made it yet to St Mary's Lock, but I'm getting there.
