A lighter shade of pale
No apologies - another Pasque Flower, it is the Easter season after all.
Pulsatilla looks like halleri slavica but arrived as Pulsatilla vulgaris seed .... although they are promiscuous devils so this may be a hybrid. It does fit the description of halleri slavica and is that lovely pale shade of lilac which makes this form so desirable. Super-hairy too, a touchy-feely flower.
Blipped the same plant on 21st March last year. All these pulsatillas are planted in the garden now where they enjoy the free draining sandy soil.
