The best pick up line

I was at "the pond" today to see if the wildlife had returned.  To my surprise and delight, both the osprey and blue heron had returned. I guess I went at the right time, because  I was able to witness the courtship of these two beauties!
First, the male stood in the nest and threw his head back and up, and gave his mating call. He did this several times, until two (I'm assuming females) came to the nest. There was a brief struggle and one left.
Next, the male kept leaving the nest, coming back with more twigs for the nest, trying to impress the female. It was as if he was saying " look at this great home I'm building for you!"
 They then wrapped their necks around each other, and did a mating dance!  
Really a wonderful sight and experience!
