On the books

A busy morning working on the paper and making good progress, and then into town to meet my colleague P before visiting a remarkable private library and exhibition space just off the Royal Mile. This seemed an appropriate photograph to accompany the visit to a place where the materials are dominated by books and objects from Scotland's long eighteenth century.
