Bruar Falls

As it's the easter holidays I have taken a few days off work to spend time with the boys. Unfortunately it seems they don't want to spend any time with me and both had other plans today and so I had the day to myself.
Took a drive up to the House of Bruar ( a posh place on the A9 heading north, near Blair Castle) It is the kind of place that sells books illustrating the best place to aim when shooting African wildlife to ensure a clean kill - well, you don't get that in your average Aldi.It has a nice cafe and deli too but as today is one of my fast days I was very good and ignored it. What I did do was have a walk up the river to the falls of Bruar where there was a family canyoning (you can just see them at the bottom.) Looked like a lot of fun if you don't mind sliding on your bum down rocks into cold pools - and who doesn't?!
