Down the cut

Another MonoMonday challenge - this time themed on water.
Seemed only right that we would take a little blip 'down the cut', which is local (Black Country) slang for the canal.
Our little part of Britain is riddled with canals... you can't travel far without falling in one, and whilst the waterways aren't used for industry anymore, they are still very much a living network, both for the people who use them, and for the wildlife.

I'm planning to shoot a few more canal pics over this year, but this one is a nice starter.
