Jazz in New Orleans

This morning we flew from Texas to New Orleans as son #3 is attending a conference- what a good chance to see another interesting city so we have tagged along for a 3 day trip.
Well known for its music we were not disappointed as we wandered the streets on a glorious afternoon - we heard some excellent jazz on street corners and this little group were in the square beside the beautiful cathedral.
I was spotted taking photos so when Mrs AMK went to put some money in their tub she was invited to sit beside this gentle giant to be photographed - I wasn't allowed to use that one as a blip!
