Yeah Yeah Yeah!

If it had been hubby's idea to attend a Manchester United game, it had been mine to visit the Beatles' hometown, Liverpool!  This was shot at the Beatles Museum near the docks.

Attended the usual lectures in the morning, then hurried back and off we went.  We were noticeably more tired than yesterday, not having yet fully recovered from our adventure, plus the weather wasn't as encouraging.  Nevertheless, it was now, that the trip was free, or spend money for a future trip, which of course we weren't sure we were ever going to do.  When we got there, all the Beatles Tours were done for the day, so we just settled for what we could visit in the city centre -- the original Cavern and the Beatles Museum.  Of course the music was playing everywhere and I was singing along half the time.  The Beatles Tour would have brought us to, for example, John Lennon's original home, but we wouldn't have been allowed to enter, anyway, because family of his still live there; idem ditto George's house, etc.

After our Beatles detour, it was back to Manchester and a quick Chinese snack bar, after which I went back to the convention centre to meet up again with my colleagues for an after-dinner game activity, which was rousing fun!
