MY BLUE HEAVEN:

I have been waiting all day for blue sky. Apart from early morning, it has been mainly overcast & grey, & quite chilly still. The front standard is part of the sprinkler system; all my trees, maples, rhodos & camellias in this back area have a tyre round them, protecting them from the ravages of rabbits ! I have an enormous problem, especially in the Spring. One year we went on holiday & on arriving home, we were disheartened to find every camellia, ring barked & chewed to the ground. I don't have any tyres in my front garden, but here, you would be forgiven for thinking we had a rubber farm !!
