By the seaside

It was lovely waking up in Hove this morning. The sun was already very hot. Fi, Fred and I walked down to the seafront, picking up breakfast from an amazing bakery. We sat on a bench and chatted and ate. In the meantime, the sun was happily burning parts of our body - we're just not used to this type of heat! We didn't stay for long since work needed to be done in the afternoon. It's just as well since I would have had serious burns otherwise. Luckily, the skin was caught in good time and soothed with Aftersun.

I watched Melancholia in the evening, which I found interesting and very funny to begin with (it has an entertaining start and then gets a little tense). Kirsten Dunst is brilliant.
