Door detail

This is a detail from one of the outside doors at Blackwell House which we visited today. What an amazing house! It was built in the Arts and Crafts style by Baillie Scott. The rooms were beautiful and each of them let in so much light. The detail of the stained glass and  the furniture was outstanding. When our children were younger and we were visiting such places we played the game 'what would you take home?' as we went round each room to try and keep their interest. My answer today would have been the whole house!!
