African Vision in Leith (159/366)
Round the back of the Scottish Government building in Leith are some routes through the docks. Last time I was down here, these roads were all closed, which was a pain for getting about, and also culled a lot of photo opportunities.
Today the taxi driver knew that the roads were open and fired through them, stopping only at some roadworks.
Looking out of the window, I saw this ship, with its helipad so obviously an afterthought.
African Vision is a Nigerian-registered multi-purpose ship. 93m long, and 4,845 tonnes, she can travel at just 11 knots, which means it takes her ages to get anywhere. She's been in Leith for a couple of weeks now. I wonder where she's off to next?
