Carnforth Station

One of my routes takes me onto the west coast, I was quite excited to be seeing the sea, but in fact it was grey and dull, quite a disappointment!
I didn't know Brief Encounter was filmed at Carnforth, it was grey here too!
As soon as we crossed the Yorkshire border again, the sun returned!
