Tea and tissues

I've had to say goodbye to another friend this evening.
Goodbyes are something we've been getting used to saying over the past 5 years (the other day we met some new people and R asked if they're going to 'live here forever'- a sign she hates goodbyes too).
This evening's goodbye was to an English Dr who I'd got to know well. She was my fellow appreciator of Earl Grey from a teapot (and there's not many of those around these parts).
