Everything is Awesome

I bought the Lego kit of Ecto-1 today.

I have never made a Lego kit.

The assistant asked "who are you buying this for?" and to his credit, he didn't flinch when I replied in a quiet voice "me." Instead he instantly said "in that case - did you manage to get the DeLorean?"

I was horrified by how many tiny pieces there are.

It took about 90mins for me to assemble the guys, their proton packs and stand. Those packs are fiddly.

Lego is not made for nail-varnish-wearing women on the verge of needing varifocals.

Ecto-1 itself went back into the box to be tackled another day...
