View from the Walkie-Talkie

Super visit this evening to the Sky Garden at the top of the "Walkie-Talkie" at 20 Fenchurch Street (courtesy of the Worshipful Company of Constructors). Richard Lines, the construction manager for Canary Wharf Contractors (joint developers with Land Securities) talked about the construction and the challenges faced. The sloping garden looks good although perhaps currently a little like the Eden Project in its early days. So instead of a photo of that I decided to choose one of the view of Canary Wharf in the setting sun.
