Twenty years

There's a couple of decades between these bikes. Not a lot of difference really: better forks and a wider ratio of gears being the main ones. The plan was to end up with just the one bike - but plans rarely run smoothly. Maybe it's a subliminal thing. My pal Marcus (who took me on a really good ride on Saturday) says that's why you see more women running than riding bikes. Men like riding bikes because they are besotted by equipment - and a pair of running shoes just isn't where it's at.
