Meet Molly and Womble

I met Molly and Womble on my walk today.

Theirs is a sad story with a happy ending. Both were on death row when they were rescued by a dog sanctuary. The gentleman who owns them now told me that it was thought that Molly had spent most of her life in a cage, used for breeding on a puppy farm. When she got too old for breeding she was put out on the streets. She still has some health problems and is deaf.

They are both gorgeous dogs, friendly, inquisitive and full of life. I couldn't get them to pose properly for my photo - they were too interested in the bag of bread I had to feed the ducks!
