Salt Lake City

Today we started out at Salt Lake City and first headed to a viewpoint that overlooked the city. It was a lovely sunny day but very windy. After looking over the structure of the salt lake basin we headed down to the shores of the Giant Salt lake where we looked at the shoreline salt deposits. A storm chased us south east to Price where we were looking at textbook style fluvial and lacustrine deposits.
