Sunburst
Sometimes I think the thumbnail crop makes a stronger image - perhaps this shot is just such a case where the sun was really too bright for any adequate recovery. Anyway, early morning scene across the estuary as I head down to Scarborough for yet another earthquake damage scope, this one with a vast range of trades and "experts". I think at last we may be making some progress with the reality of the situation, though the start date is still likely to be 6 months away - that's 5 years after the event.
Bitterly cold in Christchurch the last couple of days as other Blip pictures with snow on the Port Hills have shown, but good to see the sun again today (in between showers).
