Across the miles

This is our Armenien friend Arpineh or Apo to her friends. Shaki and I stayed with her at her home in Armenia a couple of years ago and she is in the UK for a week.

Apo works for an NGO charity in Yerevan, Armenia and is over here for a conference. We all met up with her in Chiswick for dinner and boy being with a gaggle of Armenian girls is rather noisy!

But it was lovely to see her especially as it is so difficult to get a visa to come over here. Good news is her visa will last 6 months which means she will be able to come back over for our wedding as it expires 5 days after. ;-) xx
