Caleyendar

On my calendar at work there are pictures of species of fish for every month of the year. April's fish is the Lumpsucker or Hrognkelsi (Roe Keeper) in Icelandic. We have different names for the male (Rauðmagi/Red belly) and female (Grásleppa/Grey Releaser). It's mostly the female that is caught for the roe which are considered a delicacy and is grey, hence the name of the fish.
