Orange Fungi

Today was our bushcare working bee, we are really making progress on our site and whilst it is a small group, what it lacks in size it makes up for in enthusiasm and commitment.  A top group to work with!

After we officially finished working I took quite a few images, most were for monitoring purposes but this fungi caught my eye.  It is interesting how a tree grows, dies and then decays only to provide the environment for something else to grow.

I attempted to find what species it was but there a so many to choose from that I gave up.
