Was A Sunny Day

Sorry Northern dwellers , but today has been a most glorious sunny and beautiful day.
I liked the sun coming through this bit of old fence up the green lane.
The undergrowth has grown a few inches since the weekend and the small wildflowers have had their moment of glory and will soon be subsumed beneath a mass of nettles and scutch grass, and the big boys like cow parsley will take over. The nettles will be knee high, armed and dangerous. Everything will be dusty and overgrown but just now it's all looking pretty perfect.
The oilseed rape is just coming fully out but LooseCanon has blipped that today . Doesn't that stuff smell weird? A cross between honey and cabbage. No wonder it makes some people sneeze.
