Maharajah's Well, Stoke Row.

I am working near Milton Keynes for a few days this week, on the way home I stopped for a quick look at the Maharajah's Well in Stoke Row. This was given to the people of Stoke Row in 1863 by Ishree, the Maharajah of Benares, to thank him for his work when he sank a well in Azimurgh in 1831. It seems a very unusual place to find in the middle of the English countryside but worth stopping to look at if you are ever in the area.
