Aboard the Shakabarker Bush Taxi

The inimitable Mr Kian Barker at the wheel of his army surplus Unimog which makes the perfect safari viewing vehicle.

This shot was taken as we headed down the main road of St Lucia, McKenzie Street, on our way for a night drive in Eastern Shores of iSimangaliso. Sadly within minutes of our getting through the gates of the park it started to pour with rain and although we were able to get the canvas cover up quickly enough to avoid a real drenching it put an end to the nights viewing and snapping!
