Sikh and ye shall find

Two or three years ago someone in our church suggested what has become known as 'Daytrippers', aka 'Have Bus Pass will travel'. One day a month between April and October we head off to somewhere interesting to visit - accessible by public transport and, ideally, free to enter.
 

Today's trip had been arranged to see the Gurdwara (Sikh temple) in Glasgow. We were welcomed warmly and shown round, before sharing in some Sikh hospitality. They had just finished celebrating Vaisakhi  and there were lots of gold- and silver-coloured decorative ribbons around the site and fluttering in the stiff breeze. Added a little something to the photograph.
