Up...and then down

Out on the bikes in this afternoon's sunshine; for some reason I agreed to cycle up Kirkstone Pass (only a brief walk/pause to admire primroses on the roadside)...and then enjoyed the ride down again.
It might have reached 25 degrees in the South East, but as I cycled up Kirkstone I was passed by a grit-spreader, obviously expecting frost up there tonight.
