Reunion

Special evening getting together with two former colleagues (and current friends) back together in D.C.

We were part of a group of five whose job it was to do active head hunting for high level and highly specialized positions within our international organization. Between the five of us, we split up the recruitment needs of the entire organization of 10,000 employees, working on portfolios of specific specializations. As befits the organization, we hailed from various corners of the world: France, South Africa, Austria, Canada.

To say we were a high performing group would be an understatement and the key to that was the bonds we developed with one another -- still strong 10 years after we all split up and moved on to other jobs -- and the fun we had working together. 

The looks featured here (esp mine, in the middle) is fairly representative of the reactions we might have had as we discussed the merits of various candidates ;)
