Cercis Canadiensis...again!

We have a pair of these beautiful trees either side of our front entrance and they delight us daily and draw comment from every visitor. At time of year  the colours become more vibrant after a spring and summer of rich burgundy. They stand about 5 metres high and left unchecked would totally envelop out entrance , so each winter we prune them to a skeletal globe  of about 2 metres upon their trunks in readiness of the new spring.
Their common or garden name is Forest Pansy.
