River Red gum
The River Red gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) is a tree of the genus Eucalyptus. It is an iconic tree in Australia. Being a native to Australia, it has the most widespread natural distribution of Eucalyptus in the country.
This one had fallen during a recent storm and was cut into pieces so that it could be moved. The red colour is really well exposed with this image being straight from the camera.
