Mid April---

More like midsummer.

Our workshop ended at midday today following a demonstration by Doug of his workflow which was very informative with some very useful advice which I can put to good use.

After saying farewell to the group I moved down to the huge traffic jam known as Brighton. Walking along the sea front during the late afternoon I was amazed at the number of people on the beach taking advantage of the hottest day so far this year. Returning to the hotel after dusk the cafes and restaurants were doing a roaring trade in al fresco dining. It really was like midsummer.
