Ex machina
Getting home from Now Vauxhall in Staples Corner after dropping off my Saab proved to be a magical mystery tour. Today's route takes me to Brondesbury where I discovered this fabulous old laundrette.
It was empty apart from this old chap and his equally ancient box of Persil. I found myself musing that when I first moved to London, the laundrette was always packed because we all lived in bedsits. I had two rings to cook on and my fridge was the size of a bedside table.
I met one of my ex boyfriends in a laundrette. Nowadays there are so few communal places you can meet the locals.
