Bursting

There aren't many trees on Orkney, so it was nice to go for a walk in the woods this morning. Most of the trees are still bare of leaves, but this horse chestnut has buds ready to burst. I heard (and saw) a willow warbler and a chiffchaff down by the Cairn Water. I find unit very difficult to be indoors at this to time of year, especially when the sun is shining.
