Under the arches...

Since it's Derelict Thursday....This is under one of the railway bridges in the city. There are rather a lot of these, as the trains snake their way on lines running above the main roads and houses. Some are home to peeling posters, this one simply has a slightly abandoned feel. The interesting thing for me is the contrast of the stone and bricks. Clearly, at some point, the width was significantly extended, requiring the addition of the cheaper brickwork part.
