Sleepy goose

We went for a walk today at Haddo house. Lots of waterbirds to be seen and they were not worried by my presence.

There were some very young ducklings around and I took loads of shots of them with my new long lens.  However the light levels were low and they were all completely soft with a mixture of camera shake and blur as they moved so fast. I have learnt a good lesson here that I need a high shutter speed for this lens.

This goose however did not move and I liked the different stripes on it's feathers and it's shape. It was keeping a beady eye on me.
