Getting Creative!!

The weather today was not meant to be that great, but apart from being a bit grey, the intended rain that had been forecast never came!! 

Enjoyed just chilling at the tent for most of the day, but then the creative juices started flowing!!

After getting the fire going and witteling a few sticks, a thought occurred to me that I could just - and maybe just - try my hand a some charcoal drawing!

Inspired by my friend Tansy Lee Moir, I (and the boys) decided to give it a go. 

I must admit it was great fun, and whilst it was not a patch on some of Tansy's work - which I have blipped before here, the final outcome of our drawing were not too bad for some first attempts with sharpened sticks, burnt in the fire - the example can be seen in this shot!!

Who need an "eyepad" :-)
