Big fire in the centre of Inverness started late last night, that led to the destruction of a few business premises in a large Academy street building. They were still hosing bits of it down this evening, when I went by. Fire Brigade did well to prevent it spreading to neighbouring properties. Major disruption to traffic around the town - especially when combined with various road closures and changes from the (seemingly never ending) flood alleviation works.
