Tree Swallow defending its nesting box...

Many nesting boxes have been placed around Salt Point.  Today there were lots of Tree Swallows zooming around, up and down, sometimes bombing this pair of Swallows.  The one sitting on top of the box had to keep flying up toward the 'swoopers' defending the nesting box they had selected.   The sun kept making their beautiful blue, black and white feathers luminous.
