No, really??

Why oh why do we need signs like this in our local park?

If it rains the pavements in town become slippery. If it gets really cold they can become icy and slippery. If it's foggy I need to slow down when driving and if necessary stop if I can't see the way ahead clearly.

Do we need to have signs all over the place reminding us of all these hazards? Is it just about protecting our borough council from litigation?

Whatever happened to look out for yourself and your family by teaching them some common sense?
