Creek Life (with apologies to Randy Crawford)

Been out again... briefly really. Geraldine not up to much at all still.

The Creek always does us both good. It is Dubai's reason for existing as it meant trade could take place and Dubai's economy is mainly based on trading. I was lucky that a fully laden cargo ship (or dhow* as it is called here) came along the same time as a pleasure boat... all with the "Lady of the Creek" (Sheraton Hotel) as the backdrop...

Had to collect my car from the garage... its been in there over a month awaiting spare parts which had to be ordered from Sweden! Very pleased to have it back.

*They actually had a few Creek scenes in MI4 and even shot inside a Dhow.
