Hover fly

Have I blipped a hover fly before?  Not sure.

Things are starting to buzz around.  I would have preferred ladybird or a beetle but we're not quite there yet.  Anyway this gave me an excuse to break out the macro lens.

Thank you for your comments yesterday.  I  didn't know what to write to go with the photograph and had considered turning comments off for that one entry.
