my bike

i love my bike.

i'll be honest, i didn't put much thought into buying this bike last year. our friends from a local NGO were selling second hand bikes from america as a income generating scheme so we though, why not?!

but now i adore my bike! i love that it's cheaper than petrol (free in fact), it keeps me from becoming obese, it helps with the suntan and it's just a far more social way of getting from a to b (sometimes too social though...MUZUNGU!). these days unless i have lots to carry or it's dark.... i take my bike.

and bush bike rides in the red dust are pretty awesome too.

i don't know much about bikes, but i know that i love this one!
