Stormy Malaysian sky from the mini van window

We get picked up at 7am as promised in our first minivan of the day.  Two hours later and after picking up people from all over the place and getting lost we haven't got very far and have the feeling we are running late.  A stressed mini van driver shepherds us from one mini van to another and off we go again.  About four hours later and its time to swap vans again.  All the Thais seems incredibly stressed by the whole thing and, again, we get the feeling we're running late. 

This third mini van takes us to the border and we have a pretty stress free crossing from Thailand to Malaysia ... stress free apart from our mini van driver or course who seems stressed about nothing but we get a smile out of him in the end.  Back into the van again and eventually we arrive in Penang at 9.30pm.  We have until midnight to wait for our sleeping bus to Kuala Lumpur so head out to find some food ... we are knackered!
