First ride of the spring

What a palaver!! First time out n my own bike this spring, both tyres down, so pumped them up, found lock, key, water bottle, set off, seat too low, stopped put it up. Seat too low again, stopped, put it up, realised that seat release mechanism needs tightening, no tools :-( decide to walk home on a short cut, up a very steep hill (hagg hill) met a man who had a tool (fnar, fnar) fixed seat post, cycled back down steep hill to complete my original ride, back tyre was down, stopped, pumped it up and......
Completed the ride - hooray
