Day two

We had breakfast on the South Bank then took a river cruise from the London Eye to past Tower Bridge. The sun was shining, in fact we both had a touch of sunburn!

Tonight we went to see Billy Elliot and unbeknown to us it turned out to be the 3000th performance. The Director Stephen Daldry introduced the evening and some of the special guests in the audience.

On stage at the end of two special encores strolled, along with the writer, the composer, Sir Elton John!

My attempts at taking a photo failed because of the lights on stage but the film of Elton speaking came out a treat.
