Spring is here

Out for Buddy's morning walk and we explore this empty lot. Frank Kent Cadillac occupied this space until 1986 when a gas line exploded and demolished the building.  In the past couple years, a couple construction false starts have occurred.  One time, a hotel was planned.  At least one other time an apartment was planned.  Now they are talking about another developer creating apartments.  Our end of downtown has been promised development.  Now it appears they are serious.  The development is a mixed blessing.  It hopefully will attract more people and places to eat and shop.  But it will attract more people and noise and congestion.
