Souvenir

An unusual tribute 'from a sister to her beloved brother' who died age 37 in 1832.  I've never seen the use of the word 'souvenir' on a headstone and there's no use of the ubiquitous phrase of the time 'Sacred to the memory'.  In fact it seems a quite secular tribute which is unusual given the period.  I'd love to know more : )
